Brian Carney

Brian Carney serves as Lift’s Vice President and Head of Operations, overseeing business
strategy and operations. In this role, Brian manages all building functions, provides strategic
operational direction, fosters staff development, and ensures fiscal sustainability. With a
decade of experience as Vice President at Weston Urban, a prominent office owner and
operator in San Antonio, Brian founded Lift in 2023 to address the real estate needs of office
owners in the area.

Before his tenure at Weston Urban, Brian served as Director of Facilities at Rackspace, where
he led teams in managing and optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of Rackspace’s
global real estate portfolio. Prior to Rackspace, Brian spent ten years with UNICCO, now
Cushman & Wakefield, implementing and managing facilities services programs for notable
clients such as Equity Office Properties, Texas Instruments, Harvard University, Hines, and
USAA.

Brian embarked on his career in 1996 in Boston, MA, honing his skills in building operations. He
holds certification as a Master of Corporate Real Estate through CoreNet Global. Brian earned
his Bachelor of Science from Jacksonville University. He resides in San Antonio with his wife,
Dara, and their two children, Ashley and Owen.
