Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a client’s portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in property management, outstanding leadership skills, and a deep understanding of real estate operations. The Property Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, financial performance, and overall success of our properties while upholding high standards of tenant satisfaction. They will lead by example, fostering a culture of tenant hospitality throughout the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Tenant Relations: Cultivate positive tenant relationships through proactive communication, conflict resolution, and superior customer service.
- Property Operations: Direct and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure maintenance, security, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Lease Administration: Manage lease agreements, including negotiation, renewal, and enforcement of lease terms.
- Financial Management: Develop and oversee property budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
- Team Leadership: Supervise property management team members and partner/vendor teams, leading in hiring, hospitality and operational training, and performance management.
- Vendor Management: Select, contract, and oversee vendors and contractors, ensuring alignment with our commitment to tenant hospitality.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations; implement effective risk management protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, facilities management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- Industry educational/experience certification (e.g., MCR, CFM) (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in directing property management, with a strong record of team management and client satisfaction.
- Working knowledge of real estate and leasing practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze financial statements, budgets, and operating expenses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management software and reporting systems (e.g., Yardi, Building Engines, PowerBI).
